Camera-ready submission guidelines

The Camera-ready paper as well as the copyright signed form are due on September 5, 2016.

RSP and other events under ESWeek are sponsors by IEEE and ACM. This year, 2016, ACM holds the copyright of these events, including RSP. Thus, we ask the authors to use the ACM templates for preparing their final camera-ready paper.

Note that the RSP’2016 proceedings will be published and distributed in IEEE Xplore and ACM Digital Library.

Copyright form:

  • ACM will send you soon an email with complete instructions and a link to fill out and sign a "rights management form".
  • After completing your rights management form, you will be emailed the correct rights management text and bibliographic strip to place within their paper. Authors must enter this text into their paper on the first page in the lower left hand corner (see ACM templates below).

Note that as rights management emails are sent from an automated system, there is a chance that emails sent will wind up in SPAM folders. Please make sure that you set email SPAM settings to allow emails from rightsreview@acm.org

Camera-ready paper preparation:

Please make sure to consider the following guidelines in preparing the final camera-ready version of your paper:

  • All papers are allocated a maximum of 7 pages
  • Addressing the comments of the reviewers
  • Using the ACM two-column LaTeX (or Word) style templates available here. Please read and follow the template's instructions carefully.
  • Insert the ACM text about permissions, copyright, and DOI into your paper on the first page of the paper in the lower left hand corner. You will receive the appropriate text by email from ACM once you completed and submitted your rights management form (see above).

IEEE eXplore compliance:

All camera-ready submissions MUST be checked for IEEE eXplore compliance before uploading to EasyChair system.

To check whether your PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compatible, please use the PDF eXpress service at http://www.pdf-express.org/plus/ and follow the steps below:

  1. Select "New Users - Click here"
  2. Enter the following: "39118XP" for the Conference ID, your email address, and a password.
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
  4. An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
  5. Select "Create New Title" and upload your PDF file for compatibility check, or upload your source file(s) for conversion to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF.
  6. If the paper passed the compatibility check, an online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent to your email address. If the paper does not pass the check, you will receive a report about your file with detected errors and suggested corrections in detail. Do the required modifications, upload your new document, and wait for the results from IEEE PDF eXpress Plus. Iterate if necessary.
  7. Download the approved PDF by IEEE PDF eXpress as your final camera-ready manuscript and follow the instructions below to submit it using EasyChair system. Note that this approved PDF file is labeled within its document properties as being "Certified by IEEE PDF eXpress", with an exact date and time stamp.

Electronic system submission:

Please upload the approved PDF of your camera-ready paper certified by IEEE PDF eXpress to EasyChair system. For that, please follow the detailed instructions in this file.

Please also send the following documents, by email to Amer.Baghdadi@telecom-bretagne.eu:

  • The output of IEEE PDF eXpress (please print in PDF and joint the automatic email sent by IEEE PDF eXpress confirming that your file has passed the compatibility check).

In your email, please indicate the tag [RSP'2016] in the email subject, together with the number of your paper (as identified in EasyChair system).

Publication policies:

Each accepted paper must be associated with an author registration (one registration covers one paper).

The organization committee reserves the right to exclude a paper from the final proceedings if the paper is not presented at the conference.
