Social Event:

A guided tour of St. Matthew including a dinner is scheduled during the GROWAN 2012 workshop on June 21.

The lighthouse of St. Matthew was built in 1835 and is 36 metres high. Sailors can recognize it at night thanks to the intermittent light which silently sweeps the sea and lights up the surrounding houses every thirty seconds.
A lighthouse and a little village of St. Matthew have been famous through the legends but also for its beauty and historical function in the chapter of history and culture of Brittany.

Hopefully the participants will appreciate a guided tour to discover the history and beauty of this region, followed by a friendly dinner in the restaurant beside the sea in order to Brittany’s culture attached to the sea.
