A two and a half hour dinner cruise, round the outstanding bay of Brest, leaving from Moulin Blanc marina, then round the commercial port and military harbour, along the Plougastel and Crozon peninsulas and finally, at sunset, the banks of the Elorn River.

Monday June, 27: Welcome Reception

Mairie de Brest

18:30 at Brest City Hall, Richelieu Room : All participants and accompanying persons are invited by the Mayor of Brest for cocktails at the City Hall, close to the Congress Center.

Tuesday June, 28: Banquet

At 19:30 (7:30 pm) at the Centre d'Instruction Naval (CIN), Avenue de l'Ecole Navale, Brest.

In order to access the CIN and take part in the banquet, you should provide the Congress Center "Le Quartz" with your passport number, your birthplace and your date of birth on your registration form before June 20 at the latest. Charges for this reception are included in the registration fee.

Accompanying persons are welcome to attend the banquet. If they wish to participate, please do not forget to indicate this on the registration form and to provide the same personal details as mentioned above

The banquet will take place at the Centre d'Instruction Naval (CIN) de Brest in the Tourville Room, a prestigious site offering an unspoiled view of Brest harbor entrance.


There are many surprises in store... for what promises to be a very pleasant evening !

Some words of history about the Centre d'Instruction Naval: These splendid buildings were built to accommodate the students of the Naval Academy: a graduate engineering school set up to train French naval officers. From 1929, the beginning of its construction, until 1945, it had a chequered history, marked by the second world war. The air raids caused such damage to the college that, in 1945, new students were temporarily accommodated at Lanvéoc-Poulmic, on the other side of the bay of Brest, in the buildings of a Fleet Air Arm base.
Finally, the Naval Academy was established at Lanvéoc-Poulmic definitively and new buildings were gradually built. Its transfer was made official with the inauguration of the new college in 1965 by General de Gaulle.
