How to get to Brest ?

By plane

The airport is located at the north east of Brest. The most practical way of getting from there to Brest is to rent a cab.

Typical course fees are of approximately 20€.

The railway station is located downtown, most hotels listed below are only a few minutes away by foot.

You can use mappy in order to find the best way to go from the railway to your hotel.

By car

There are two main highways leading to Brest. The first one (RN12/E50) taking the northern part of brittany, goes through Rennes and Saint-Brieuc. The second one (RN165/E60) makes the link with Nantes, and goes through Quimper and Vannes.

Travelling within Brest

Brest is a small city, and many places located within the center are accessible by foot. For more distant places, such as the oceanopolis (oceans and seas exhibition center), using public transports (see the bibus website - only french language available) is an easy way of going around. The fee is of 1.05€ for a 1 hour ticket, and 3€ for a daily ticket.

A (large) complete map of the bus lines is available here. The ENST Bretagne can be fond in cell C9, the airport in L2, the railway station and city hall in H7. You will find Oceanopolis in cell K7.
