This workshop was held for the first time at EC-TEL 2009 in Nice for a half day (http://conferences.telecom-bretagne.eu/futurelearning09/). It gathered almost 30 people and combined short paper presentations and a lively but too short brainstorming session. The workshop organisers also provided a blog to host papers / presentations and to continue the discussions (http://3s-cms.enstb.org/futurelearning/).
