Social Event - Thursday April 18, 2013

The social evening will be held on Thursday evening at the Musée National de la Marine (or National Navy Museum) located inside the Brest Castle, which is the city’s oldest historical monument that served as a military fortress over 17 centuries.

 

A free bus service will be available for all registered participants, at the end of the last session, to go directly from Telecom Bretagne to the museum. First and second bus departures are scheduled at 18:15 and 18:30 respectively from Telecom Bretagne’s main entrance.  

 

 

We will start the evening at 19:00 with a cocktail and a 20-mn guided visit of the museum in English to navigate through the history of the arsenal and discover some spectacular exhibits including masterpieces of ornamental carvings and naval construction. From the fortress ramparts, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the roadstead and the Penfeld River at sunset.

 

 

 

 

Dinner

A finely selected three-course dinner will then be served inside the museum, where you will enjoy the rest of the evening. Should you have any dietary constraints (e.g. vegetarian diet), please let us know beforehand by sending an email to contact@ondm2013.eu no later than April 10.
