He received the Licensure (2004) and PhD (2009) degrees in meteorology from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He spent one year as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Atmospheric Science Research Group, University of Corrientes, Argentina and 4 months as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) in Paris, France. Since 2012, he has been a Researcher at CONICET and a part time lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires. Since 2013 he has been a visiting scientist at RIKEN-Advanced Institute for Computational Sciences, in Kobe, Japan. His main research interests are focused on numerical weather prediction, ensemble forecasting and data assimilation.
