OceanDataLab, Plouzané, France
He graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 1996, where he studied off-shore engineering. In 2000, he received the Ph.D. in oceanography and meteorology environment for Paris 6 University. His thesis was dedicated to the three dimensional aspect of wind-wave field. He spent two years working on HF radars as a post-doctoral research associate at RSMAS, Miami, USA. From 2002 to 2008 he was co-founder of BOOST technologies with the aim to develop tools for SAR marine applications then from 2008 to 2012 was head of the R&D department at the Radar Applications Division of CLS, focusing on the development and validation of surface wind, wave and current retrieval from SAR. He is now with a OceanDataLab developping tools for multimodal (satellite/model/in-situ) synergy analysis. He has participated in a number of international training course on ocean satellite remote sensing.
