The IEEE International Conference on Information & Communication Technologies: from Theory to Applications - ICTTA’06 - will be held from April 24 - 28, 2006 in Damascus, Syria. Through its technical program, the conference aims to provide an outstanding opportunity for both academic and industrial communities alike to address new trends and challenges, emerging technologies and progress in standards on topics relevant to today's fast moving areas of Information and Communication Technologies. ICTTA’06 will offer oral, poster sessions, tutorials and, professional meetings. Submitted papers are expected to cover state-of-the-art technologies, theoretical concepts, standards, products implementation, ongoing research projects and innovative applications of the IC Technologies use.

In addition to the regular ICTTA’06 sessions, some topics will be organized as a half-day/one-day satellite workshops (SW). These SWs will be mainly focussing on specific ICT applications.
